Product's description :
For the printing of the modern banknotes, we use ink and colouring agents which are perceived by the human eye differently once subjected to the infrared spectre. This is what we call the "metameric infrared" effect of these colouring agents. If a drawing is printed with two identical colouring agents in the same tone but from which the properties are different, we shall see only the part of the drawing reflecting the infrared colouring agent when we use one of our IR detectors.
