The PRM 233 is a combination of an automatic documents scanner, OCR recognition device and if need be, a document recognition programme.
==> In just one second the PRM 233 can take an image of the document : in visible light, under UV light or under IR light according to the model.
These images are formatted for use with a PC (as a .bmp file) and appear at once on the screen and can, of course, be automatically memorised by the PRM 233.
==> The software reads OCR lines of text, 1D and 2D codes bars, printed characters and optical marks on the document.
==> The images/information can be saved in a database created by the user.
Easy to use even for staff not familiar with the device !
The PRM 233 is used by banks, casinos, hotels, the police, immigration services, the military, by airlines for passenger check-in at airports, car rental companies etc.
